I have the yummiest, juiciest scoop on the royal Raisingh wedding 🔥🔥🔥
A little bird at Cartier just let slip that the famous Mehr necklace, which was languishing in the super-secret underground locker of a Swiss bank, has been cleaned and restored in preparation for its immediate transfer to Savanur Palace 💎
Which begs the question… will the new Maharani wear the necklace????? ⛓️
If you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years, let me remind you that the famed necklace is rumoured to be cursed, and hasn’t been worn by anyone in the Raisingh family for the past fifty years.
The last person to wear it was Maharani Ratandevi Raisingh, the current Maharaja’s grandmother (pictured above), who broke her neck after she fell from her horse the day after she wore the necklace for the first time.
Time will tell if HH Jaidev Raisingh allows his new bride to wear the cursed necklace.
